The annual EU-Startups Summit will take place in Barcelona once again this year, giving a boost to Europe’s wider startup ecosystem from this thriving hub.

Barcelona, March 2023. The 2023 edition of the annual EU-Startups Summit is due to take place on April 20-21 in Barcelona, gathering together startup founders, investors, enthusiasts, and stakeholders from right across the European startup ecosystem and beyond. This year’s event, which is becoming a standout occasion on the European startup calendar, is expected to be its biggest one yet with more than 2,000 attendees gathering for two days of networking, inspiration and learning.

The Summit will take place in the Palacio de Congresos in Barcelona on April 20-21. Speakers already confirmed include the likes of Michael Cassau (Founder and CEO, Grover), Lina Chong (Director, Target Global), Diliara Lupenko (Co-Founder and COO, Impress) and Rob Cassedy (CEO, Wallapop).

The event seeks to highlight the brightest and most promising innovations and entrepreneurs as well as to celebrate and learn from Europe’s biggest success stories. Barcelona provides the inspirational background, itself highlighting how startups can become part of an exciting entrepreneurial culture and create cities that are hubs of innovation, inspiration and impact.

The EU-Startups Summit is a premium gathering of founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates and investors from right across the continent. This year, an extra emphasis is being placed on networking and connections, including an enhanced networking app in development and extended exhibition space.

As one of the annual highlights, the Summit will once again host its annual Pitch Competition on the main stage - with a prize package of over €160k. Expecting about 1,300 applications, the 15 finalists will be invited to pitch at the EU-Startups Summit in front of the attendees and an expert jury of VC investors. It’s an event that always leaves everyone at the edge of their seats, and a chance to hear pitches from Europe’s most promising early-stage startups, ready to shape the future of innovation.

Alongside all of this, attendees will have access to the main stage and the workshop stage. They’ll feature fireside chats with some of Europe’s most successful founders and investors, educational talks, and insightful panel discussions.
